We waited until 10 with mine and it was the right call. Season 1 is fine but it gets darker fast. Watch with her if she does go in.

Counterpoint: we gave my 10yo a basic phone (calls/texts only, no apps) and it actually solved more problems than it created. Middle ground exists.
