About FamScoop
Ask, share, and figure out parenting — together.
FamScoop is a privacy-first community for American parents. We built it because the existing options either treat parents like consumers to be advertised to, or like content to be harvested. We're trying to build the opposite: a quiet, useful place where real parents can ask honest questions, share what's actually working, and find people in the same season of life.
What we believe
- Connections drive everything. Every feature on FamScoop has to answer one question: does this help parents build real connections with other parents? If it doesn't, we don't build it.
- Privacy is architecture, not policy. You can post as yourself, as your @handle, or anonymously — and every corner of the app respects that choice. Your data isn't for sale, and there are no third-party trackers.
- Reviews support community, not the other way around. We write real-parent reviews of movies, TV, games, YouTube channels, and AI apps. They're the way many of you find us. But the real value is the conversation that happens after.
- US English, US parents. We're starting in the United States so the conversations feel like a real neighborhood, not a global hallway.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't run third-party ads or trackers.
- We don't surface engagement-bait. Posts are ranked by the connection they generate, not the rage.
- We don't pretend to be a substitute for crisis help. If you're struggling, please see the numbers on our Help page.
The team
FamScoop is built and run by a small group of parents in the United States. We answer email ourselves at hello@famscoop.com.
Want to help?
The best thing you can do is post honestly, reply kindly, and invite one other parent you trust. That's it — that's the entire growth strategy.
