Warm, funny, surprisingly emotional. The rare kid show grown-ups actually want to watch.

Is it any good?

Bluey is what every parenting book wishes a kid show could be. The 7-minute episodes follow an Australian Blue Heeler family, and underneath the goofy games are real lessons about patience, sibling dynamics, big feelings, and the small daily work of being a family. What to expect: gentle humor, no scary content, mild emotional moments that occasionally hit hard for adults (the episode 'Sleepytime' and 'Baby Race' are both tearjerkers). There's no romance, no violence, and the conflicts are kid-scale. The Australian English ("dunny", "capsicum") might prompt questions, which is half the fun.
